Mobile handsets are target of new data-theft scams

Android handset users should avoid using built-in browsers until Google fixes a security vulnerability that lets malicious websites to steal data off an SD card. In addition, federal security officials are warning mobile-device users about "smishing" or "vishing" schemes focused on grabbing personal data and warn cell phone users not to visit unknown websites via malware text or voice mail messages.
