Online planting project sprouts lessons for students

Fourth-graders at an Indiana elementary school are learning lessons in history and science through an Internet-based program that has them measuring the growth of tulip bulbs they have planted in their school garden. Students log on weekly to the Journey North program's website to record the progress of their bulbs and view the progress of flowers across the country.
