ACI: Ingredient-disclosure bill unnecessary, information already available to consumers

The American Cleaning Institute and other industry groups are opposing a bill that would require companies to list ingredients on the labels of their cleaning products. ACI says that ingredient information is already available and that cleaning products are used safely every day. A recent activist-group attack on products is "disappointing and regrettable, and only serves to unnecessarily alarm consumers and distort product safety," said ACI CEO Ernie Rosenberg.
