DHS prepares online tool to speed up CFATS compliance

The Department of Homeland Security will use the Internet to promote easier compliance with the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards, said Jennifer Cannon, of the DHS Infrastructure Security Compliance Division. The Chemical Security Assessment Tool is a "one-stop shopping" approach in fulfilling compliance requirements for chemical plants, and it is expected to available by year's end.
