Proposed law targets data sharing in fighting cyberthreats

Some U.S. lawmakers believe intelligence and data sharing between federal agencies and IT security firms could boost national cybersecurity and protections for individual companies. Two members of the House intelligence committee have proposed a law to promote such interaction. Opponents are concerned about privacy and civil liberties.
