Why Japan must focus on improving gender equity in business

Kimie Iwata, vice president of cosmetic company Shiseido, is one of the few women business leaders in Japan and she says it's time that the country put a needed focus and emphasis at improving gender equality in the corporate world. Not only would women benefit from closing the gender gap, the strategy could boost economics and help Japan deal with a declining workplace talent pool.
