Maryland trials testing alternative

One in six Maryland high-school seniors are at risk of not graduating because they have not passed state exams that are required in order to receive a diploma. However, thousands of students statewide are working on an alternate route to graduation being offered by the state, which includes completing a prearranged project to satisfy the requirement.
