House passes regulatory bill focused on small businesses

The House has passed a bill to require government agencies to focus more on the potential effects of regulations on small businesses when crafting new rules. "Opponents will argue that the bill stops agencies from issuing regulations. However, the reality is that H.R. 527 will force agencies to consider how their actions affect small businesses and other small entities," said Sam Graves, chairman of the House Small Business Committee. The bill isn't expected to gain traction in the Senate.
