N.J. Senate could vote on marriage equality next week

A vote in the New Jersey Senate on a marriage-equality bill is on track to take place Thursday, assuming the measure clears the Judiciary Committee on Monday. A demonstration in favor of the marriage-equality legislation on Thursday in Trenton, N.J., attracted about 650 supporters; about a dozen anti-marriage activists also marched.
