Journal should retract French biotech corn study, experts say

Biotech experts and scientists urged Reed Elsevier's Food and Chemical Toxicology journal, the publisher of a French study that linked Monsanto's corn to increased tumor risk in rats, to retract the paper and explain why it was published. The petition follows the European Food Safety Authority's rejection of the study's findings in its recent report, saying that the paper "does not meet acceptable scientific standards."
