Hospital expands electronic records, prescribing to its clinics

Snoqualmie Valley Hospital in Washington state plans to use electronic medical record software in its clinics next year. The switch is expected to improve accounting, make hospital and clinic records compatible, give doctors handy access to lists of generic alternatives to the drugs they want to prescribe, and note potential reactions to other drugs a patient may be taking.
