CN helps to maintain N.Y.-Canada passenger-rail service

Canadian National's cooperation with Amtrak, VIA Rail Canada and the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission in Ontario, Canada, will ensure Amtrak's continued use of the Whirlpool Bridge for its Maple Leaf service. "The new arrangement will allow CN to transfer the rail assets to the agencies responsible for providing passenger rail service over the bridge," said Francois Hebert, CN vice president of network strategies.
