The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has said it may consider non-tribal casino proposals for the state's Southeastern region while allowing the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe to pursue its casino plans in the area. The commission is expected to dismiss commercial casino proposals and allow development of the tribal casino to move forward should the tribe's plans advance.
