How entrepreneurs get the Lean Startup model wrong

The Lean Startup model is important, but entrepreneurs sometimes misuse it, according to investor Marc Andreessen. Some entrepreneurs use the methodology as an excuse to give up quickly or as a reason not to focus on sales and marketing, he noted. Another problem is that some companies simply can't follow the Lean Startup model. "I don't think the Lean Startup idea, as brilliant as it is, and as widely applicable as it is, should halt us from investing in these big ideas right out of the gate," he said.
