Prince Edward Island committee does not recommend ban on biotech products

A special committee for the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island issued its recommendations regarding biotech products after a year of work, including 15 public meetings, and did not recommend a ban on biotech products. The recommendations included the use of labels on biotech products and efforts for the federal government to develop international standards on labeling.
