IPG's Roth: "We're not in negotiations"

Interpublic Group chairman and CEO Michael Roth was unequivocal in addressing reports that his company is for sale, saying, "We're not in negotiations with Publicis or anyone else." Roth, speaking at the UBS media-industry conference, was responding to news reports that Publicis is considering acquiring Interpublic. Publicis Groupe Chairman and CEO Maurice Levy also has strongly denied those reports.
