DISH could be sitting on $10 billion worth of spectrum, analyst says

DISH Network's Charlie Ergen could turn out to be a "wireless power broker" because of the company's cache of unused, available spectrum, BTIG analyst Walter Piecyk writes in a report. DISH's spectrum holdings are worth an estimated $10 billion, taking into account the amount Verizon is paying Comcast, Time Warner Cable and another cable operator for spectrum.
