Lawmakers plan to question regulators about Dodd-Frank Act

Members of the Senate banking committee are poised to question regulators about their progress on implementing the Dodd-Frank Act, including the Volcker rule. The Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Reserve and other regulators are working to write and implement hundreds of rules. The Volcker rule has proved to be particularly contentious, with industry groups requesting additional time to comment.
