US district announces plan to attract Chinese students

Ed Brand, superintendent of Sweetwater Union High School District in California, recently discussed with officials in China's Guangdong Province the idea of bringing high-school and middle-school students to the US. About 300 to 400 Chinese students would enrol in the "school within a school". The district would charge Chinese students £5,761 or more in fees to pay for the programme.
