Direct bottle decoration could phase out shrink sleeves

Direct bottle decoration could replace full-body shrink sleeves in the near future, according to Ben Miyares' observations at Pack Expo 2012. He cited examples such as Hartness International's screen printing process, which is faster and more energy efficient than traditional applied ceramic labeling, and Absolut's Unique vodka bottles, which included 4 million one-of-a-kind bottle designs.
