N.J. town moves to make sign rules more business friendly

Working with the public-private Broadway Improvement Corporation, city officials in Fairlawn, N.J., will move to pass an updated sign ordinance aimed at fostering business growth along Broadway. "We want to take away some of the stumbling blocks that don't help bring in some of the businesses we want along Broadway. We want to put more tools in the property owner's hands," BIC Vice President Craig Kerbekianl said.
