Scripps CEO is bullish on Food Network, Travel Channel

Food Network is on track to reach $1 billion in revenue in the next few years, Scripps Networks Interactive Chairman and CEO Ken Lowe said at the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference in New York. The channel from January through September tallied $616 million in revenue, a 13.8% increase over 2011. However, Lowe believes Travel Channel, which Scripps bought three years for about $1 billion, has the most growth potential.
