Tenn. district approves development of student health plans

A school district in Tennessee has approved a new policy that will allow students with food allergies to have individual health plans developed by the school nurse. The policy also calls for the designation of peanut-free tables in the school cafeteria. The idea for the policy came from a student who suffers from a severe food allergy.
