Hospital meets regional need with new hyperbaric oxygen chambers

Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in north-central Wisconsin has become a wound-care destination since adding two hyperbaric oxygen chambers, said Ryan Neville, director of rehabilitation services at the hospital. "We expect patients to travel distances for this daily," he said. The hospital previously had to refer patients with non-healing wounds to facilities hundreds of miles away, according to surgeon Michael Caldwell, director of the hospital's hyperbaric medicine center.
