Need for early NICU therapeutic intervention seen in study

Early therapeutic interventions in the NICU may be needed to help the muscle and nerve development of premature infants, according to a small study from Washington University in St. Louis. Therapeutic intervention can help preterm infants interact with caregivers and gain muscle tone, researchers said.
