Experts: Hurricane season 2006 will be "very active"

The 2006 hurricane season could be nearly as active as this past year's, research teams from the Tropical Meteorology Project at Colorado State University and London-based Tropical Storm Risk said. The Colorado group says it expects to see 17 named tropical storms in the June-through-November season, while TSR has forecast five tropical storms to hit the U.S., of which two may be hurricanes.
