NFIB, other business groups "encouraged" by tax deal

Business groups are cautiously optimistic about the agreement reached by President Barack Obama and congressional Republicans that extends Bush-era tax cuts for two years and reduces payroll taxes for employees. "We're encouraged by the direction this is going in," said NFIB's Bill Rys, who noted that a payroll-tax holiday for employers as well would have been better.
