Survey names Vermont as the healthiest state

The United Health Foundation named Vermont as the healthiest state for the second consecutive year, with its high rate of insured residents, well-funded health services and high availability of primary care providers. Meanwhile, Mississippi placed last for the ninth consecutive time due to high rates of childhood poverty, obesity and preventable hospitalizations.
