Report: Global biofuels capacity will reach 54.1 billion gallons by 2015

The world's biofuel-production capacity is set to rise to 54.1 billion gallons by 2015, from 44.6 billion gallons today, according to Lux Research, which expects that ethanol capacity will reach 35.1 billion gallons per year by 2015. The best market opportunities for ethanol are in Brazil, Australia, China, Sweden and Thailand, the group said.
