Report: Developing countries show demand for high-end mobile products

Bucking conventional wisdom, an IDC survey indicates that high-end mobile products are in demand in developing countries. Randy Giusto, group vice president for IDC's Mobility, Computing and Consumer Markets research, said brands such as Nokia were popular in markets such as China and India for the prestige they carried.
