Cable's ad-revenue shortfall marginal compared with other media

Total advertising spending dropped 14.7% from January to September of this year compared with the same period in 2008, according to a new report from TNS Media Intelligence. The report also showed that ad spending on cable TV fell far less than it did on network TV, which were down 2.9% and 11.5%, respectively.
