Banana Republic opens Paris flagship

Gap-owned brand Banana Republic opened its first store in Paris this week, a 16,000-square-foot, two-story shop on the corner of the Champs Elysées. The chain is the latest in a series of foreign retailers to open flagships in the district, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger and UK-based Marks & Spencer, which opened its doors two weeks ago.
