Michigan county's wellness plan nets healthier employees

More than 60% of public employees in Oakland County, Mich., have participated in its wellness program, which has reduced the number of workers at high risk for health problems from 15% to 4% over four years. The county also had a 1.3% reduction in health care costs for 2011, which officials said was partly due to the wellness program.
