The Environmental Protection Agency may be inflating the volume of greenhouse gases emitted at shale natural gas drilling sites, said House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., in a letter to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson. "The Committee is concerned that these methane emissions estimates, now being relied upon internationally, were not based on sound science," Issa wrote.
