New design for solar panels could boost efficiency

The University of South Florida Polytechnic has created a new design for solar panels that could make them more efficient. The undertaking involves using an undisclosed material and a chevron pattern on the panel's surface, which produces different angles to enable the sun's rays to penetrate the PV cells. The design is still in its initial stage.
