Idaho high-schoolers are teachers in science class

The Concepts of Science course at an Idaho high school has students acting as teachers and mentors to fourth-graders learning science. The high-school students grade papers and answer questions as they earn elective credit for acting as student-teachers, helping the younger students set up science problems and understand class assignments. "The bonus for me is watching students that I've taught become natural teachers in a short amount of time," said the teacher who started the program.
