Senate Democrats consider changing Medicare expansion measure

Complaints from doctors, hospitals and business groups have forced Senate Democrats to reconsider a proposal that would expand Medicare coverage as an alternative to a public option, according to officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., said they are trying to find a solution to the groups' concerns.
