Colo. school district seeks to adopt new math curriculum

The Boulder Valley School District soon will review committee recommendations for new elementary- and middle-school math curricula. The three finalists are Everyday Math, Math in Focus and Math Expressions. Regardless of the chosen program, educators say it will make things easier for teachers and students alike, as the existing math curricula vary from school to school, and there is no established link between the current math program and the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.
