NEI advises Obama to reconsider Yucca Mountain

NEI officials are advising aides of President-elect Barack Obama to not rush into any decisions regarding Yucca Mountain, saying that the waste repository is crucial to the nation's long-term storage strategies. "We have talked with them. We have no sense what they are going to do," Marvin Fertel, NEI acting president and CEO, said at a briefing.
