RFA, other groups fight House amendment on E15

The Renewable Fuels Association and other ethanol-industry groups called on congressional leaders to reject an amendment in the House of Representatives that would suspend the rollout of E15 by requiring more engine testing. "Extensive testing has been done on E15 and it has been found to be a safe and effective fuel for use in the vehicles approved in the waiver," the groups said. "There has been no evidence to the contrary that would indicate problems in any vehicle regardless of vintage," they added.
