AB InBev's lighter bottle showcases company's green initiatives

AB InBev's new lightweight Beck's and Beck's Blue bottle that was introduced in the U.K. this year will save more than 2,600 metric tons of glass in 2013 and eliminate almost 2,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide from the manufacturing process, the company reported. The bottles, which are almost 11% lighter, are part of AB InBev's Best Beer Company in a Better World campaign.
