ATA moves to push telehealth in state legislatures

The American Telemedicine Association has collaborated with three minority legislative groups in an effort to inform lawmakers about telemedicine and move a model for state-level telehealth legislation forward. "We're using the outcomes evidence and lessons learned from these cases to show all state governments how telemedicine can improve the quality of health care, increase access, and reduce costs," ATA CEO Jonathan Linkous said.
