Economy, oil prices will challenge energy team's plans

The mood for change may be clouding a bit as President-elect Barack Obama's energy team tries to affect climate change, develop alternative energy and reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil. Already there is a difference of opinion between the future president and his pick for energy secretary over the federal gasoline tax. Steven Chu wants to increase the cost of gasoline to European levels, but Obama has said raising the tax would burden American families.
