Millennial women want independence, self-direction

Women of the millennial generation prize independence and self-direction, writes Lindsey Pollak after examining the results of a research study of young women. According to the study, 96% of women ages 21 to 29 listed being independent as their top life goal, above marriage, motherhood and other pursuits. Millennial women also seek out multiple perspectives from mentors as they look to pursue their path in life.
