Report: LTE version of Nokia's Lumia reaches AT&T, Verizon labs

Nokia might be making some big strides in its long-standing efforts to crack the U.S. market: AT&T and Verizon Wireless reportedly are testing a version of Nokia's new flagship Lumia 800 smartphone that would run on their Long-Term Evolution networks, even though its Windows Phone software doesn't support the technology. While the report notes that carriers test many phones, Nokia's move into LTE is seen an aggressive one aimed at gaining acceptance among U.S. telecoms.
