Court tells Clear Channel, CBS to take down L.A. billboards

An appeals court has ruled that permits that allowed Clear Channel Outdoor and CBS Outdoor to put up 100 digital billboards in Los Angeles are invalid, and ordered the companies to take them down. The decision stems from a lawsuit filed after the City Council granted permission for the companies to put up 800 digital billboards despite a citywide ban.
