Hoteliers must embrace mobile preferences, Expedia executive says

Luxury hoteliers need to pay attention to mobile trends as guests increasingly use smartphones and tablets. This translates into having a useful application and mobile website, and enticing guests with pictures because some people rely on visuals more than reviews. "[Hoteliers] need to bring home that this is a visual shopping experience," John Kim, an Expedia executive, said this week at the Expedia Partner Conference in Las Vegas.
