10-year, $1.3B mass transit plan outlined for Indiana

The Central Indiana Transit Task Force on Tuesday proposed a decade-long, $1.3 billion plan to upgrade the region's transit system. The plan calls for doubling bus service in Marion County and adding train service from Noblesville to Indianapolis. The group proposed funding the project through an income tax increase of 0.3%, as well as federal grants.
