N.C. county refuses to waive bond requirement for emergency services

The Board of Commissioners for Iredell County, N.C., unanimously voted against waiving a bonding requirement for a private ambulance company. The board-imposed time frame for securing a bond expired in the middle of November. "I'll be honest, the bond is something I'm going to be very reluctant to back off of," said the board's chairman, Steve Johnson.
