17 states to set up state-run health exchanges

Seventeen states plus Washington, D.C., have said they'll run their health insurance exchanges ahead of today's deadline to decide. Nineteen other states -- among them Texas, Georgia, Kansas and, as of Wednesday, Pennsylvania -- have said they will not run the exchanges. At least eight states, including Illinois and West Virginia, could go with a federal-state partnership.
